Layouts: Iron Scrapper 2012 Templates

During the month of July, ScrapOrchard has a contest called "Iron Scrapper". It is 4 weeks of challenges and special weekly kits can be purchased to use in the challenges. ScrappingWithLiz provided a template each week and 3 of the 4 weeks I used the SWL template. SWL now has the Iron Scrapper templates for sale in her shop for purchase.

Here are my layouts using the templates.

I feel in love with SWL's "ABC Templates" and decided I need to do an ABC book about my hometown, Wapakoneta, Ohio.

The first layout is "W"apakoneta Waterpark using Dream Big Design's kit Splash Zone.



The next layout is "A"rmstrong Air & Space Museum using the Scrap Orchard July Mega, "Country Folk".

ScrappingWithLiz has a new template set in her store at ScrapOrchard called "ABC Templates". I did this layout using "Oh My Dog" by mLe Card. I really love that kit!!!

ScrappingWithLiz has several different alphabet templates available in her store at ScrapOrchard. I used her Cut Out Alpha Templates for this layout. Kit is Oh My Dog by mLe Card.

Template is from Scrapping With Liz's "Zine Style Templates" available at Scrap Orchard. Used a kit from Meredith Cardall called "Adventures in Yard Work", also available at Scrap Orchard.

Layout: Bathroom Remodel

I have finally finished fixing up the bathroom. Started last July with having new tile installed and having the shower door removed. Over Memorial Day weekend, I painted it. No more orange flowers on the wall! New curtains and shower curtain finish it off.

I documented the process with pictures and scrapped them. I used an older template by Scrapping With Liz from her Double Templates II collection. Be sure to check the collection out! It is available at Scrap Orchard.

I am so lucky these days!

My favorite template designer has added a few members to her creative team to help her promote some of her older templates she is updating and putting into her store. She has asked me to be one of those members!

So I am now an official member of the Creative Team for Scrapping With Liz. Liz has a store at Scrap Orchard filled with template goodies. And, for my SBC+ scrapping friends, she includes .page files in her downloads.

My first official layout for her used her Double Templates.

Artgal Style's newest release "Boys Rule" is now available at PlainDigitalWrapper. I borrowed this picture of my cousin's precious grandsons to highlight this adorable boy kit!

What Spring Brings is a colorful kit by Artgal Style now available at PDW. Spring has arrived early in Ohio. The Bleeding Hearts are already blooming!

We've had an early spring this year with the weird weather we had this winter. The 80 degree weather in mid-March had all the early spring flowers blooming. My bleeding hearts are in full bloom right now, oh about a month early!

Doodly Doo is the newest kit by Artgal Style available at PDW. I saw the bee in the kit and just knew what picture I had to scrap!

The latest release by Artgal Style at PlainDigitalWrapper is "My Shabby Garden". It was a wonderful kit to use for this picture of my mom, her mom and me taken a LONG time ago!

Artgal Style has released a mini kit this week called "Birthday Party" available at PlainDigitalWrapper. I've been scanning old pictures and found some pictures from one of my birthday parties!

Artgal Style released a kit called "A Formal Affair" last week at PlainDigitalWrapper. It is basically a black/white kit with hints of color. I found some great black and white pictures to use with it.

And, I'm proud to say that this layout was chosen for "Gallery Stand Out" at PDW this past week and was eligible for "Layout of the Week". I'm just honored to be a GSO.... never been selected before!

PlainDigitalWrapper has a gorgeous collaboration kit available this month and I was lucky enough to get to use it. It is called "Music Man" and can be used for both band or vocal, old or new photos!

Artgal Style has a new kit out this week -- Field Trip Ahead. The kit is jam packed with items to help you scrap all of those field trips your kids will have over the years!

I've been hanging out at Scrap Orchard lately and participating in some of their challenges. A recent challenge was to scrap a Disney tune, either as a title or journaling on the layout. So a little research gave me 2 songs I felt like using, both dealing with friendship. As I put together the layout I knew I wanted to use "You've Got A Friend In Me".

The kit is Artgal Style's "Say It Ain't So" which came out earlier this month. It is available at PDW.

Artgal Style has a new release this week at PDW, "Feel The Burn". I fell in love with it and can see myself using it on layouts for a 5K or 2 I'd like to walk in this year.

For several years I have been specifically taking at least 12 pictures on the 12th of the month that detail how boring my days really are! LOL! I did something a little different when scrapping them this year. Each month is a 1 page layout using the same template from Scrapping With Liz. Each month I used a different kit from ArtgalStyle.

Every couple of years I have a casual picture taken of Dad & I. This is the latest one.

I absolutely adore this kit! It is Bohemian by Artgal Style and it is available at PlainDigitalWrapper.

I had never seen this picture taken by my grandfather when I was about 9 months old. They had a slide camera so not many photos were shared back then. In the 90's I was given some slides that had me in them. I found this one and had a negative and a photo made. A few years later when I got a scanner, I scanned the picture. I love the picture and now....
